Does anyone here have any updates to the genocide of the Hmong people over in Laos (Southeast Asia)??
What are the names of the people in South American, Mexico and the Caribbean that consider themselves as part of the Native American tribes?
Wouldn’t it be interesting if a Hmong and Native American shaman came together to do a healing?
I would like to see/hear some of the folklore stories that was told to you from your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles. I think it would be interesting to see/hear the different stories from all the different tribes/clans.
I find it interesting that both in the Hmong and Native traditions, a person has more than one name or as they get older or have kids, they have a name ceremony ritual for them.
I notice that the Hmong and Natives are “divided” into tribes/clans. And in each tribe/clan they are very similar in traditions but have a different way of doing things as far as ceremonies and rituals goes. Makes sense?
What do you see similar or the same in your culture that is similar or the same in the other culture? Both input from Hmongs and Native Americans would be good.
What are your thoughts on the Hmongs and Native Americans being long lost brothers and sisters? Both input from Hmongs and Native Americans would be good.
What do you like about the other person culture? Both input from Hmongs and Native Americans would be good.
What do you like the most about your culture? Both input from Hmongs and Native Americans would be good.
