What are the names of the people in South American, Mexico and the Caribbean that consider themselves as part of the Native American tribes?
I would like to see/hear some of the folklore stories that was told to you from your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles. I think it would be interesting to see/hear the different stories from all the different tribes/clans.
I find it interesting that both in the Hmong and Native traditions, a person has more than one name or as they get older or have kids, they have a name ceremony ritual for them.
I notice that the Hmong and Natives are “divided” into tribes/clans. And in each tribe/clan they are very similar in traditions but have a different way of doing things as far as ceremonies and rituals goes. Makes sense?
